Our aim is to provide a smooth and efficient transition of the transferee and their family to their new location, ensuring that the transferee is able to concentrate on core business activity, from day one.

For individual transferees, required services are agreed upon after assessing needs. All services are personalised and are adapted to cater for the specific needs of the transferee and family.

In the case of corporative transfers, ME works as an extension of the HR department where needs are measured against cost effectiveness and corporate procedures for coordination, reporting and frequency of future contact are established.

Preview trip

This is a one day orientation tour of Madrid that takes in the outlying residential areas, and is designed for the transferee and family to get their bearings around the city and to contribute to deciding on where they would like to live.

It also provides an insight on day to day living and customs and an opportunity to air concerns and receive an answer to questions.

Housefinding

The service is mainly aimed at rentals for at least a one year period, but a shorter search can also be carried out for short-term accommodation.

  • After exhaustive investigation into the property market, by searching the area, the local press, internet and making contact with local agents of each area from an approximate 30 or 40 places contacted, a pre-selection of an average of 12-14 is made and, over a two day period, the transferee is accompanied to appointments, receiving assessment throughout.
  • When the chosen property is decided upon ME intermediates on behalf of the transferee to discuss and agree the general terms of the lease contract. ME oversees the whole process up to and including the contract signing.
